Welcome to the Wireless Communications Research Laboratory (WCRL). We are part of the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University. The lab is physically located in 219 Engineering Research Building (ERB). Hopefully, these pages will give you an idea of what we are about.

Dr. Matthew Valenti has been promoted to Full Professor.

Aug. 15, 2009

Dr. Matthew Valenti has been selected to serve as a co-chair of the Waveforms and Signal Processing Track at the 2010 IEEE Military Communications Conference (MILCOM) in San Jose, California, and the Communication Theory Symposium at the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) in Kyoto, Japan.

Dr. Matthew Valenti was the recipient of an Outstanding Researcher award, one of six given out by the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.

Dr. Vinod Kulathumani has joined the department and lab. Dr. Kulathamani recently completed his Ph.D. at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Daryl Reynolds has been promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure.

April 24, 2008

Dr. Daryl Reynolds has received an NSF Career award entitled Multimodal Cooperative Networks: Design, Analysis, Prototyping, and Integrated Education.

Dr. Matthew Valenti has received an NSF CRI award entitled A Web-accessible Grid-computing Resource for the Telecommunications Community.
